Pony Canyon has revealed the main cast and staff members for the upcoming anime adaptation of Ryō Ariyama’s Romelia War Chronicle: Even After Defeating the Demon King, Humanity Still Seems Doomed, So I Formed a Military Force light novel series. The anime will air in 2026.

Ariyama launched the light novel series online on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2019. Shogakukan’s Gagaga Bunko imprint publishes the series in print in Japan, and the series ended with its sixth volume on November 18, 2025. Ryō Kamito launched the manga series on Mag Garden’s Mag Comi platform in January 2022.
Lastly, Seven Seas Entertainment licenses the manga series and describes it as follows:
