Sparks of Tomorrow Anime Trailer Reveals Four New Cast Members

Netflix and Kyoto Animation revealed four new cast members for the TV anime adaptation of Hiro Yūki’s Sparks of Tomorrow novel, which premieres in July 2026 on Netflix.

The new cast members for Sparks of Tomorrow include:

  • Kōki Uchiyama as Yosuke Mizoe
  • Daisuke Ono as Seiroku Sakamoto
  • Shunsuke Takeuchi as Kengo Kuga
  • Minako Kotobuki as Noriko Momokawa

Before the Netflix premiere, Sparks of Tomorrow will be present with a special stage event at AnimeJapan 2026, which takes place from March 28 to March 29 (public days) at the Tokyo Big Sight.

The main cast includes:

  • Yūma Uchida as Kihachi Sakamoto
  • Sora Amamiya as Inako Momokawa

Minoru Ōta directs the anime as his first directorial project, and Tatsuhiko Urahata oversees the series scripts. Kohei Okamura is the chief animation director and character designer. What’s more, Takaaki Suzuki is in charge of the worldview setting, and Hitomi Kotō is the music composer.
