Ubisoft and Digital Eclipse have announced Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition, a remaster of the 1995 classic platformer, will launch on February 13 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Ubisoft Store. A physical edition will be released in June 2026.

Here’s an overview of Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition, via Ubisoft and PlayStation Blog:

Developed by Digital Eclipse, discover a new way to play the 1995 classic Rayman as you step back into Rayman’s shoes to unleash his signature punch and helicopter hair-glide on a mission to rescue Electoons from Mr. Dark. The platforming adventure will take you through colorful, magical worlds, including the Dream Forest (and its memorable mosquito ride) and the musical chaos of the Band Lands.

Celebrating three decades of Ubisoft’s legendary mascot, this definitive edition lets you play multiple versions of the 1995 game, including the handheld adaptations reformatted for the PlayStation 5. You can also take on 120 additional levels pulled from the bonus level packs Rayman’s New Levels, Rayman 60 Levels, and Rayman by His Fans. It includes a faithfully reimagined soundtrack by composer Christophe Héral, as well as optional enhanced gameplay features that change up the classic gameplay, such as a 60-second rewind, multiple save slots, instant level unlock and infinite lives. As an added bonus, Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition will include a never-before-playable prototype, giving you an inside look at how Rayman’s gameplay was developed.

Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition will also include an exclusive interactive documentary, offering fans a glimpse into the untold story of Rayman with over 50 minutes of new interviews with the original developers, rare concept art, early sketches, and design documents that show how the limbless hero came to be. Dive into 30 years of Rayman in Rayman: 30th Anniversary Edition when it launches digitally on February 13 for PlayStation 5, with the physical edition available in June 2026 in select regions, subject to availability.

Previously, Ubisoft Milan and Ubisoft Montpellier announced that they’re working on “the future of Rayman,” with a video message from brand producer Loic Gounon being released to celebrate Rayman’s 30th anniversary. The announcement backed up rumors that a Rayman remake entered development after the Ubisoft Milan and Montpellier teams began an “exploration phase” for the Rayman brand.

In the meantime, Ubisoft’s Rayman 2: The Great Escape and Tonic Trouble are available now on the Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Classics app for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack. Nintendo Switch Online members simply need to start up the Nintendo 64 – Nintendo Classics app to play Rayman 2: The Great Escape and Tonic Trouble to play the games in all their glory.
