Pokémon 30th Anniversary ‘What’s Your Favorite?’ Video Released During Super Bowl LX

The Pokémon Company has released the “What’s Your Favorite?” video commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise during Super Bowl LX. The video features a mix of live-action and CG footage with celebrity stars like Lady Gaga, Trevor Noah, Charles Leclerc, Jisoo, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Lamine Yamal, and Young Miko each championing their favorite Pokémon.

What’s more, Niantic and The Pokémon Company are celebrating the release of the new video with a special campaign and feature for the 10th anniversary of Pokémon GO. The “What’s Your Favorite?” in-app camera feature is now available, allowing players to pose with favorite Pokémon and decorate their photos with stickers and frames.

New Trainers that have never made a Pokémon GO account and try “What’s Your Favorite?” in-app camera feature will receive a Special Research mission resulting in an encounter with Gengar, 100 PokéCoins, and 30 Poké Balls. Existing Trainers will be able to earn 10,000 Stardust, 5 Rare Candy, and 1 Lucky Egg, so everyone can benefit from using the new feature.

The latest entry in the Pokémon franchise, Pokémon Legends Z-A, is available now on both the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. Its DLC, the “Mega Dimension” is also available on the aforementioned platforms.
