Capcom has announced that the demo for Pragmata will be available today on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The “Sketchbook Demo” initially released on PC via Steam in December 2025.

The demo provides a look at the gameplay mechanics of the upcoming game. It’s designed to emphasize replayabilty, as each time you play the demo, you may notice some “hidden features” that only become apparent later. Check out the trailer for the release of the Pragmata demo on consoles, alongside a new look at the gameplay of the game on the Nintendo Switch 2, below:

Pragmata will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam on April 24, 2026. Capcom initially announced Pragmata over five years ago, but delayed it multiple times since then. It had set the game for a 2022 release, but it couldn’t meet the window. The game is now available for pre-order.

Additionally, six songs from the original soundtrack, including “Memories Are You,” are now streaming on major music services. As an exclusive bonus, players who pre-order will receive Hugh’s samurai-styled Neo Bushido outfit and Diana’s ninja-inspired Neo Kunoichi costume. Alongside the standard version (MSRP $59.99), a Deluxe Edition (MSRP $69.99) will be available, which includes the Shelter Variety Pack.

This bundle offers an assortment of alternate cosmetic outfits for Hugh and Diana, a weapon skin, emotes for Diana, extra background music for the Shelter, and an in-game library with 75 pieces of digital artwork. A new PRAGMATA Diana amiibo figure is also coming soon for Switch 2.
