Sanrio and Sunblink have announced the Hugs & Hearts event for Hello Kitty Island Adventure is now live through February 19. To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Hello Kitty Island Adventure players can catch limited-time Lovebugs around the island and collect Bonbons, which can be traded for valuable rewards such as chocolate-themed outfits and furniture during the Hugs & Hearts event.
Meanwhile, the Luck & Lanterns celebration is ongoing until February 17 in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. The event brings new festive rewards to celebrate the Lunar New Year, which is the Year of the Horse in 2026.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is available now in the Nintendo eShop for $49.99. Nintendo Switch users can upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 version with an “Upgrade Pack” for $9.99. Hello Kitty Island Adventure Nintendo Switch 2 Edition features higher frame rates, smoother and cleaner visuals with a higher resolution, CameraPlay with GameChat, and Joy-Con 2 mouse controls.
