Square Enix will release a new FORM-ISM figure of Avatar Tuner Varuna from Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga in July 2026, and pre-orders are available now at Hobby Genki, AmiAmi, and other participating shops. The new Digital Devil Saga FORM-ISM figure costs 7,700 yen, or roughly $50.
The Digital Devil Saga spinoffs of the Shin Megami Tensei series were released on the PlayStation 2 in Japan and the west. These cult classic turn-based RPGs have not been re-released on modern platforms, but last year’s release of Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of The Soulless Army could be a sign that more remasters are being considered. Raidou Remastered: The Mystery of The Soulless Army is available now for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Final Weapon reviewed Raidou Remastered and gave it a 4.5/5 score, noting that the the game is “a nearly perfect remaster that sets the standard for RPG remasters due to its breadth of features and quality of life improvements over its original game.”
SEGA and ATLUS previously released Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance on June 14, 2024 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
