The Overlap Bunko All-Star Gathering Special 2026 Part 1 event has revealed that Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 will premiere in July 2026. A new teaser promotional video and key visual for Skeleton Knight in Another World Season 2 were revealed, and Norwegian singer-songwriter PelleK will be performing the opening theme song.
Katsumi Ono directs the anime at Aura Studio. Returning staff members include character designer Tōru Imanishi, monster designer Yoshihiro Nagamori, and sound director Satoshi Motoyama. Toshizo Nemoto is in charge of series scripts, Hideki Inoue is the sub-character designer, and Jia Fang Lu is the art director. New staff members also include color key artist Harue Ono, CGI director Tomotaka Aoki, and animation producer Yasuhiro Uema.

Ennki Hakari initially launched the novels on the Let’s be Novelists website in October 2014, and Overlap published the first volume with illustrations by KeG in June 2015, and the 10th volume in March 2022. Akira Sawano launched the manga adaptation in February 2017.

When Arc wakes up, he discovers that he has been transported to another world in the body of the character he was playing in an MMO. Looking like a suit of armor on the outside and a skeleton on the inside, he is the Skeleton Knight. If his identity is discovered, he could be mistaken for a monster and become a target! Arc decides to spend his time as a mercenary so as not to attract attention to himself. However, he’s not the kind of man who can stand idly by when he witnesses evil acts take place right before his eyes!
