KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME Update Introduces ‘Ax Technique Proficiency’ Soshiro Hoshina

Akatsuki Games, TOHO CO., and Production I.G have released a new update for KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME featuring new 5-star character [Ax Technique Proficiency] Soshiro Hoshina and a new special event featuring Hoshina and Kikoru. The new event, titled The Weapon Within, features a story focusing on the daily lives of Hoshina and Kikoru.

In the new update for KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME, players can complete the new special event to earn a new home background, up to 1,500 Dimensional Crystals, and the event-limited 4-star weapon “Ax-Bison 91,” which is a great starter weapon for [Ax Technique Proficiency] Soshiro Hoshina. The new character and his 5-star weapon, Ax-0087, can be acquired from the latest Pickup Gacha.

Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 is streaming with English dubs and subs on Crunchyroll. The staff of the Kaiju No. 8 anime confirmed that a “conclusion arc” anime adaptation and a new “Narumi’s Weekday” short are in the works.
