KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME Update Adds Original Character Wang Meixing

Akatsuki Games, TOHO CO., and Production I.G have released a new update for KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME featuring new game-original 5-star character [Negotiator of Wit and Charm] Wang Meixing, Main Story Chapter 7, and a New Chapter Event and Login Bonus. The update also marks the arrival of a special 8 Free Pulls Daily Gacha, the first rerun featuring  Reno Ichikawa and [Limited] Sagan Shinomiya, and the Paid-Only 5-star Guaranteed Gacha.

[Negotiator of Wit and Charm] Wang Meixing and her AR-Gnijiluh (Assault Rifle) weapon are available from the latest Pickup Gacha. A separate Pickup Gacha Rerun: Reno Ichikawa and [Limited] Sagan Shinomiya is also available, giving players the opportunity to summon characters they may have missed out on. The Paid-Only Paid-Only 5-star Guaranteed Gacha is another opportunity to bring home some fan-favorite characters, but it can only be summoned from twice. 

Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 is streaming with English dubs and subs on Crunchyroll. The staff of the Kaiju No. 8 anime confirmed that a “conclusion arc” anime adaptation and a new “Narumi’s Weekday” short are in the works.

In a world plagued by creatures known as Kaiju, Kafka Hibino aspired to enlist in The Defense Force. He makes a promise to enlist with his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro. Soon, life takes them in separate ways. While employed cleaning up after Kaiju battles, Kafka meets Reno Ichikawa. Reno’s determination to join The Defense Force reawakens Kafka’s promise to join Mina and protect humanity.
