Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark Update 1.6.1 Adds Online Multiplayer

Inti Creates has released the version 1.6.1 update for 2D action game Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark with online multiplayer support. The new update lets Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark players tackle the Demon Realm in co-op via the Multiplayer Lobby mode at the main menu, and multiplayer can also be accessed by Cyclo and Kyuklo in Maxim’s castle.

From Ver. 1.6.1., online multiplayer lets you play co-op with players worldwide!
Team up and battle across the Demon Realm together!

After updating, you’ll be able to access the multiplayer lobby from the castle or the main title screen.

Just select “Multiplayer Lobby” from the main menu.

You can also access multiplayer during gameplay by visiting Cyclo and Kyuklo in Maxim’s castle.

Both the host of a game and guest player can select “tags” for matchmaking.

The host can use this tag to show what they want to do when creating a room.

Use the tags to find a match that fits your goals and playstyle!

Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark launched on March 27 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. The Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions of Gal Guardians: Servants of the Dark launched on June 5.
