Nintendo, Intelligent Systems, and DeNA have announced a new summoning event for Fire Emblem Heroes centering around the newest Emblem Hero, Edelgard from Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Fire Emblem Engage. Starting December 24 at 11:00 p.m. PST / December 25 at 2:00 a.m. EST, Edelgard will appear in the “Edelgard: Of Rivals” summoning event alongside previously released 5-star Legendary, Mythic, and Emblem Heroes in Fire Emblem Heroes.
Emblem Hero Edelgard looks to be an immensely powerful unit with the Black Eagle Axe, a weapon that grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res +15, accelerates Special Trigger cooldown by 1, and inflicts Exposure, Frozen, and Def Shackle after Canto triggers. She’s also empowered by her own set of skills, which can be browsed in the in-game notice for the character in Fire Emblem Heroes. In general, this version of Edelgard can severely weaken foes, and her engage partner can act again with her.
The “Gift I’ll Give Again” event for Fire Emblem Heroes is currently ongoing with holiday-themed Special Heroes. These heroes include Gatekeeper: Midwinter Toil, Seiðr: Candlelit Hope, Alfred: Joyous Snowdrop, and Ivy: Flurry Embrace (duo unit with Camilla), and players can summon from Gift I’ll Give Again until January 14, 2026, at 10:59 p.m. PST.
What’s more, 5-star hero Zelkov: Winter Shadow appears as a Score Reward in the latest Tempest Trials+ event. Legendary Revival is also coming soon, allowing players to summon past Legendary Heroes as 5-star Focus Heroes with an initial appearance rate of 4% in the summoning revival. Players who summon 40 times or more may choose one of the 5-star Focus Heroes to summon for free, along with obtaining a Celestial Stone.
Lastly, Fire Emblem Heroes is available now for Android via Google Play and iOS via App Store worldwide.
