SEGA and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio have released a new gameplay trailer for Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties during its dedicated Direct presentation, revealing more insight into Kiwami 3’s new Bad Boy Dragon content and Dark Ties’ Hell’s Arena fight club. This is in addition to the previously revealed content for Morning Glory Orphanage and Kanda Damage Control.
In Bad Boy Dragon, Yakuza Kiwami 3 protagonist Kazuma Kiryu assembles a motley crew of delinquents to rule the streets and protect Okinawa. Kiryu join the Haisai Girls motorcycle gang as their new leader and set forth in Baddies Battles. Baddies Battles lets players gear up to 20 of their gang members for massive brawls and strategic battles.
The Hell’s Arena underground fight club is accessible to Dark Ties protagonist Yoshitaka Mine. There, he must come out on top of a series of battles to bring down the event’s organizers, since they pose a threat to the Nishikiyama Family’s business operations. As Mine, players must survive Hellish Brawls, traditional one-on-one fights, and Survival Hell, which are dangerous races where competitors are chased by hunters in a treasure-filled dungeon.
Yakuza Kiwami 3 & Dark Ties includes a remake of 2009’s Yakuza 3 and Dark Ties, a Like a Dragon Gaiden-style game. The title features revamped gameplay, story changes, new cast members and English voice-overs, and new cutscenes in the Dragon Engine.
The cast includes:
- Takaya Kuroda as Kazuma Kiryu
- Shido Nakamura as Yoshitaka Mine
- Satoshi Tokushige as Daigo Dojima
- Ryo Ishibashi as Shigeru Nakahara
- Teruyuki Kagawa as Goh Hamazaki
- Show Kasamatsu as Rikiya Shimabukuro
- Hiroyuki Miyasako as Tsuyoshi Kanda
- Kenji Matsuda as Shinpei Ikari
Players may choose to play Yakuza Kiwami 3 or Dark Ties in any order. Mine has a unique fighting style and access to mini-games and side content like Karaoke and Kanda Damage Control
