SNK has announced that the SNK World Championship 2026 will begin on January 29 during Frosty Faustings XVIII. The event will take place in Lombard, Illinois.
The following games be playable during the event: FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves, THE KING OF FIGHTERS XV, SAMURAI SHODOWN, ART OF FIGHTING 3. Across qualifiers and finals, SWC 2026 has a total prize pool of $4,100,000. Players will earn points based on their placement in each qualifying tournament (excluding LCQs). The highest point earners will advance to the main event.

Recently, SNK added Mr. Big to Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves on December 9. Originally the boss of Art of Fighting in 1992, Mr. Big arrives with a more dynamic and powerful fighting style. The next DLC character for the game is currently unknown.
Lastly, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
