The Jump Festa 2026 stage event for Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 revealed a new trailer to get fans hyped for the April 2026 premiere. In addition, the staff confirmed that Kaito Ishikawa will be voicing Sōsuke Michibata in the anime.
Mission: Yozakura Family Season 2 will air on 28 MBS and TBS networks on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. JST during the “Nichigo” slot. Sakurazaka46 performs the new opening theme song “What’s ‘KAZOKU’ (What’s ‘Family’).”
Currently, the first season of Mission: Yozakura Family is streaming on Disney Plus and Hulu.

Mirai Minato directed the anime’s first season and oversaw the series scripts at SILVER LINK. Mizuki Takahashi was the character designer and chief animation director, and Kōji Fujimoto and Osamu Sasaki were the composers.
Hitsuji Gondaira launched Mission: Yozakura Family in 2019, and Shueisha publishes the manga series on MANGA Plus service. Yen Press is also publishing the manga series in print.
