Wright Flyer Studios has announced that “Complex Dream,” the crossover event between Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space and Square Enix’s classic 1999 JRPG Chrono Cross, has been extended from December 2026 to December 8, 2031. New sub-quests and playable character Glenn will be added to the crossover in February 2026.
In the February 2026 update, Glenn will be added as a playable character. Existing playable characters from Chrono Cross, including Serge, Kid, Harle, and Starky, will be available for Stellar Awakening in Another Eden. Further, a new update on December 18 will introduce playable character “Porcelain Pixie” Myunfa (CV: Sarah Ovens)’s Another Style. Claude (CV: Rory Fleck Byrne)’s 5-star class “Armiger” will be available for Stellar Awakening.
A collaboration between Another Eden and Final Fantasy IX, dubbed “Memories of Another Sky,” is ongoing. In the event, Another Eden protagonist Aldo falls through a hole in spacetime and finds himself in Alexandria. Zidane and the Tantalus Theater Troupe come to his rescue, and Aldo joins them for their upcoming performance at Princess Garnet’s birthday celebration. Once their adventure begins, they’re joined by Black Mage Vivi and Garnet’s loyal knight Steiner.
The collaboration brings new mechanics paying homage to Final Fantasy IX. Players can equip new Support Abilities to Zidane, Garnet, Vivi, and Steiner. Equip them with Magic Stones to unleash their various effects. Players can also use Synthesis to combine special equipment with specific items to create more powerful equipment, so be on the lookout for Synthesists in towns and dungeons.
Another Eden: The Cat Beyond Time and Space is available now for Android, iOS, and PC via Steam.
