Fortnite has officially teased its next collaboration: it seems that Epic Games is set to finally collaborate with BLEACH, the beloved series from Tite Kubo. A teaser trailer was released this morning, showcasing Ichigo’s Fullbring Shikai in an area looking similar to Heuco Mundo, teasing a December 20 release date.
It is widely expected that multiple BLEACH characters will join the game as part of this crossover. Ichigo Kurosaki is all but confirmed, and you can count on Rukia Kuchiki to join as well. From there, Epic Games can look to add prominent characters like Uryuu Ishida, Chad, Orihime Inoue, and even Yoruichi Shihouin.
Considering the collaboration is teased for Saturday, it is likely that the reveal will occur during Jump Festa at the BLEACH panel. Fans are already expecting a new look at the new season of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity, in addition to more surprises.
Previously, Fortnite has collaborated with huge anime series like Naruto, Dragon Ball, My Hero Academia, and Attack on Titan. It’s unclear as of now whether or not the Bleach collaboration will bring new items into the game, similar to the ODM gear for AoT.
We’ll keep you updated on this collaboration as news is released. Be sure to stick around for our Jump Festa coverage this upcoming weekend.
