Screamer, Milestone’s new racing game, is releasing on March 26, 2026. Alongside this announcement is a new story trailer featured at The Game Awards 2025.
Initially unveiled at The Game Awards 2024, Screamer promises to combine arcade racing with combat mechanics. It will feature an anime-inspired artstyle with cutscenes by Japanese studio Polygon Pictures.

According to the game’s website, the story involves a tournament organized by a mysterious figure known as Mr. A. Players can choose between five different teams, learning each character’s motivations behind joining this high-stakes tournament.
Screamer will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store. Players who purchase the Digital Deluxe Edition will be able to access the game three days early.
The Game Awards 2025 marks the 11th year of the annual show, run and hosted by Geoff Keighley. This year, the nominees were led by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Hades 2, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, and Hollow Knight: Silksong.
