Kepler Interactive and Shapefarm have announced Orbitals, a new retro anime-themed intergalactic 2-player co-op adventure game for Nintendo Switch 2. Orbitals will be released in 2026, and the game’s official website is now live.

Grab a friend and launch into Orbitals, an intergalactic 2-player co-op adventure set in a wholly new retro anime world.
Team up as Maki and Omura, two inseparable explorers with a whole lot more determination than experience. You’ll brave the perils of space in search of help for their crumbling station home, now trapped within a supernatural cosmic storm.
Our duo must venture beyond the storm and into the unknown in a desperate bid to save their home. It’ll take brains, bravery, and teamwork to make it through!
The Game Awards 2025 marks the 11th year of the annual show, run and hosted by Geoff Keighley. This year, the nominees were led by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Hades 2, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, and Hollow Knight: Silksong.
