During The Game Awards 2025, we got a new look at LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and its release date, May 29th, 2026. Alongside a release date, we also saw new playable characters, including Catwoman and members of the Bat-Family. Announced at Gamescom, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is the newest LEGO Batman game. It tells an original story that draws on elements from various Batman movies, games, shows, and comics.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is being developed by Traveller’s Tales and published by Warner Bros. Games. It is set to release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam), and Switch 2.
The Game Awards 2025 marks the 11th year of the annual show, run and hosted by Geoff Keighley. This year, the nominees were led by Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, Hades 2, Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, and Hollow Knight: Silksong.
