That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea premieres in Japanese theaters on February 27, 2026, and Sony Pictures Entertainment and Crunchyroll are bringing the movie to theaters worldwide, excluding most Asian territories. The film will have an original plot that wasn’t featured in the manga and main novel series. 8-Bit is the studio behind the movie’s animation, and TRUE performs the theme song “Utopia.”
