During the latest NGS Headline WAVE broadcast, SEGA revealed several new updates and events for Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis launching in December 2025 and early 2026 as part of “Omniscience Beyond Genesis,” including the Super Genesis Festival ’25. The Super Genesis Festival ’25 Seasonal Event will begin on December 3.
During Super Genesis Festival ’25, Central City will be decorated in Christmas decor, and the Region Mags will have a festive appearance. Raguo Rappy, Raguo Great Rappy, and Peppy Rappy will also appear around Halpha, and the event navigator Xitre will arrive with a Santa-themed outfit. In the Seasonal Points Exchange Shop, players will items and rewards like the Buche de Noël and Holiday Gift B Build Parts, Deser Sword Accessory, Augment Capsules, Tech Arts Customization items, Equipment Upgrade items, and Scratch Tickets for the Super Genesis Festival ’25 SP Scratch, which includes special weapon camos. The Limited-time Exchange Shop will also be back.
On December 9, 2025, Stages 7 and 8 will be added to Extra Duel: Planetfall Strike with extra rewards up for grabs, including accessories Vael Ring and Ringwedge Foot Rings, and new Title Tasks will award N-Master Cubes in Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis. The “Luther, Emergent Created Conqueror” Urgent Quest will arrive on December 17, allowing ARKS Defenders to team up with up to 8 players once more to take on Luther once more. There will be a variety of rewards to obtain from Limited-time Tasks, including Reward Box Medal – Luther and the new 14-star Rarity Arche weapon series.
Leciel Combat Analysis Zone Survey will receive a new boost to Enemy Levels, a new sector, and various new boss enemies, including Ruine Ragne, Ruine D Hyunal, Ruine Angele, and Ruine Ringahda. A new Limited-time Task will be added as well with Super Genesis Festival ’25 SP Scratch Tickets as rewards. In addition, Rank 3 will be added to the Kvaris Trigger Quest, Drill: Remnants of Ambition, with an Enemy Level of 110. Moreover, fans can look forward to Legend 3 weapons, including the 12-star Rarity Twaalv series, and much more. Players are encouraged to play the new Leciel Combat Analysis Zone Survey content to earn Improve Cubes, which are upgrade materials required for new weapons.
Mission Pass NGS Season 51 will be available with a slew of rewards, including Stamps, accessories, Personal Shop Use (3 Days) and SG Scratch Ticket Slips, new Build Parts, and so much more. Limited-time Quest: An Invitation From Benefan and Limited-time Quest: Happy Sunrise! will also be available with several more rewards to obtain by participating with other players and completing Limited-time Tasks and Title Taks, including more Titles and Super Genesis Festival ’25 SP Scratch Tickets.
