NIS America and Nihon Falcom have announced action RPG Ys X: Proud Nordics is coming to the west on February 20, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. A new trailer for Ys X: Proud Nordics was also released to give fans a preview before the launch next year.
Ys X: Proud Nordics released on July 31, 2025 for Nintendo Switch 2 in Japan, and the game is coming to the west in early 2026 for Switch, PS5, and PC (Steam) via publisher NIS America. Clouded Leopard Entertainment released Ys X: Proud Nordics on August 21, 2025 with an additional PC (Steam) version in Asia with Japanese audio and Korean, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese subtitles.
In Japan, Ys X: Proud Nordics is coming to PlayStation 5 for 8,580 yen on February 19, 2026. Pre-orders are available now at retailers like Amazon and Biccamera, and first-print copies of Ys X: Proud Nordics for PS5 include a reprint of the Complete Additional Songs Collection, which features 12 new songs from the game. The PS5 version supports 4K at 120 FPS.
Ys X: Proud Nordics features a new story, new elements and upgrades, new bosses, Mana Ride races, battles in the arena where deadly enemies await, new Mana Actions, and much more. In addition, Ys X: Proud Nordics features a 120 FPS performance mode on Nintendo Switch 2, along with a 60 FPS default setting.
