LEVEL-5 has announced that Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road surpassed 500,000 copies in the week following the game’s global launch on November 13 (JST). Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road initially launched in early access with its Digital Deluxe Edition on November 10 for all platforms, excluding Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road update 1.2.4 is also available now for the game’s PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) versions. The update adjusts training goals in Story Mode Chapter 9, added a feature to switch characters on the Abilearn Board and Equipment Menu, and applies various bug fixes. Update 1.2.4 will come to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions at a later date.
Portrait/landscape modes and stylus controls—originally planned for the Switch version—were been removed in order to focus on cross-play support. Inazuma Eleven: Victory Road supports mouse controls on Nintendo Switch 2 and PC at launch, followed by the PlayStation 5 version with a free update at a later date.
Since there are over 5,400 characters, players can store the characters and manage them in save data called the Player Bank. According to LEVEL-5 CEO Akihiro Hino, characters stored in the Player Bank may be carried over to a potential sequel. LEVEL-5 also launched the Inagle player search system on October 22, allowing players to search and browse players before launch.
