You Don’t Know Gunma Yet Light Anime Teaser Reveals Theme Song

Earlier today, SKY PerfecTV!’s Tetsudō Channel revealed the theme song for the “light anime” adaptation of Hiroto Ida’s You Don’t Know Gunma Yet manga in its new promotional video. The theme song “Jōmo Karuta ~Reiwa-ban” (Jōmo Karuta~Reiwa Version) will be performed by Masayuki Deguchi. The anime will air in 2026.

The cast of the anime include:

• Gakuto Kajiwara as Nori Kamitsuki
• Jun Kasama as Otoya Todoroki
• Aya Uchida as Kyou Shinōka
• Yui Ogura as Teruna Ieki
• Ken Uo as the Narrator

Tetsuya Tatamitani is directing and composing the series. Kōhei Nakayama and Emi Saitō are writing the script. Akihito Masui is composing the music for the series, and Miura Tōko is directing the music. Kazuya Takahashi is a production supervisor. IMAGICA Infos is producing the series.

Ida launched the manga series on Shinchosha’s Kurage Bunch website in October 2013, and the series ended in May 2019. 11 compiled book volumes were released by Shinchosha. A 12-episode anime short series premiered in April 2018, and Crunchyroll streamed the series with English subs as it aired in Japan.

Kamitsuki ends up having to move from Chiba Prefecture to Gunma Prefecture. He decides to do a little bit of research about Gunma on his way over, and everything he finds out is terrifying!
