During the G-STAR 2025 event in Busan, South Korea, Netmarble released a new trailer for monster-taming action RPG MONGIL: STAR DIVE showcasing the new Sura region. The new Korean-inspired region is where the story continues after the journey of the 9th Brigade, featuring Esther, Flare, and Reina.
The Sura region is a land where humans, dokkaebi, and various demi-human races coexist, and its also where MONGIL: STAR DIVE players will begin fan-favorite character Mina’s new storyline. In addition, the new trailer highlights the village of Naksan and its characters to highlight Korea’s cultural essence through the game. New characters like Jiwon and Gabi make their appearance.
The trailer also showcases the dokkaebi boss “Duoxini” and “Hahnul,” based on the historic military unit “Tiger Hunter.” The Netmarble booth at G-STAR 2025 gave visitors firsthand experience in MONGIL: STAR DIVE through gameplay demos, live stage programs, fireside chats, and much more.
Global pre-registration for MONGIL: STAR DIVE is open with rewards like 4-star character Francis. Additional rewards, including Compass of Promise ×10, will be given to players who pre-register via the App Store or Google Play. There’s also an ongoing pre-registration campaign on social media, allowing players to earn Compass of Promise and various growth materials when the game’s official social channels reach 100,000, 300,000, and 500,000 followers. At 500,000 followers, all players will earn a Mollumander Monsterling.
MONGIL: STAR DIVE is coming soon to PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and PC (Windows and Epic Games Store).
