In 2024, Bethesda released the Fallout TV series on Amazon Prime. The series’ success affected the franchise drastically, jumping up the player rate for most of the games in the series. It also received several Emmys, including Outstanding Emerging Media Program and Outstanding Music Supervision.

Fallout is one of Bethesda’s most prolific franchises. The most recent game in the series was Fallout 76, a controversial MMO-styled first-person shooter. The entry preceding it, Fallout 4, is available on PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, and will release next year on Switch 2. Additionally, for those looking to catch up before Fallout Season 2, Fallout: New Vegas is available on Xbox and PC via Steam
