PAC-MAN 45th Anniversary Pop-Up Opens November 14 at Macy’s Herald Square

Bandai Namco will soon open the limited-time PAC-MAN 45th Anniversary Pop-Up at Macy’s Herald Square with free-to-play PAC-MAN arcade games and merchandise. The PAC-MAN 45th Anniversary Pop-Up will run from November 14, 2025 to January 18, 2026 in New York City at 151 W 34th St., open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (EST).

The pop-up features a lineup of classic arcade games, including World’s Largest PAC-MAN, PAC-MAN Battle Royale Chompionship, and PAC-MAN’s Pixel Bash, which features more than 30 classic arcade titles. Attendees can also try out Gashapon, the popular Japanese vending machine for toys and prizes. Gashapon tokens are available for purchase, and fans can collect miniature figures of PAC-MAN and their favorite anime, games, charms, and much more. There will be photo opportunities and a shop with a curated lineup of anniversary collectibles, including electronic toys, plushies, and retro arcade cabinets.

The pop-up is located on the 7th floor of the department story. A grand opening event is set for November 14 from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a meet and greet featuring PAC-MAN, themed giveaways, and a free gift with purchase while supplies last. The pop-up is free and open to the public.

What’s more, PAC-MAN will make his official debut in the 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 27 with a new balloon. The PAC-MAN balloon measures 40 feet and 5 inches long, 38 feet and 9 inches wide, and 37 feet and 3 inches tall. Fans can watch 99th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 27 in the U.S. on NBC and stream on Peacock from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
