Lastly, here’s an overview of the game, via Steam:

Introduction

Neo-Cisco has been shaken by organized crime, a deadly virus and more, and each time justice and right have prevailed thanks to a small band of brave fighters. Now, they must rise up again to face an overwhelming evil and discover the true mastermind behind these past events.

Jaleco’s *Rushing Beat* returns, bringing a beat’em up cocktail with new moves, new weapons, and new allies, and an exciting, two-player co-op story for double the impact!

Action

With easy-to-use auto-combos, even beginners can enjoy exhilarating action. Chain together your own combos with various actions like counterattacks, follow-up strikes, and weapon-based attacks. Most actions can be canceled with dashes or jumps. Master the cancel system and unleash even more consecutive attacks!

Throw techniques can be varied with key inputs. Send your targeted enemies flying, and if you throw them into the background, you can destroy normally unreachable objects, giving you a chance to acquire items!

As you land hits or take damage, your rage gauge increases. When the gauge reaches MAX, you enter rage mode. In addition to enhanced attack and defense abilities, you’ll also be able to unleash a finishing move called “Beat Rush.” Overcome evil with the power of righteous fury!

Chapter

Battle across varied locales: in shopping malls, slums, subways, and research facilities as you fight to uncover the truth and save the city once more! Challenge side-missions along the way, with challenges involving various actions and stage gimmicks!

Characters

With multiple characters, from series veterans Rick Norton and Douglas Bild and newcomers too, mastering the unique fighting style of each fighter is the key to success, with more unlocking more as you progress through the game. Two-player co-op adds a further layer of strategy, and fun: mix and match characters and find the perfect team!

Food

At the Tuff E Nuff, kitchen car, which also serves as a checkpoint in stages, you can combine the various food items you have. Creating combo meals with three types of food increases healing potential and may also grant special effects! Whether attacking or eating, combos are the way to go!
