During the November 11 State of Play event, Capcom announced that Monster Hunter Wilds Free Title Update 4 will launch on December 16. The new update will introduce Elder Dragon Gogmazios, and there will also be expanded endgame content, weapon buffs, seasonal events, and performance improvements for Monster Hunter Wilds. More in-depth details about Free Title Update 4 will be revealed at a later date, so stay tuned.
As previously announced, Monster Hunter Wilds Free Title Update 4 is part of a “multifaceted plan” to improve the game’s PC version, which has been criticized for its performance issues. After Free Title Update 4 releases, there will be further updates to improve overall performance in the game.
Capcom previously released the version 1.03 update for Monster Hunter Wilds, which introduces the Final Fantasy XIV collaboration featuring the Planetes Protocol quest (with Savage difficulty). Monster Hunter Wilds update 1.03 also includes Nerscylla Clone, Arch-tempered Nu Udra, more event quests, and much more.
Monster Hunter Wilds is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Before launch, Final Weapon reviewed Monster Hunter Wilds and gave it a 4 out of 5 score, noting that the game is “a worthy follow-up to Capcom’s most successful game ever.”
