Capcom announced Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4 will introduce optimizations to the game’s PC version as part of a “multifaceted plan.” Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 4 is planned for release in winter 2025, but it’s worth noting that plans can change.
According to Capcom, gradual improvements to Monster Hunter Wilds on PC will be made in the weeks ahead. After Title Update 4 releases, there will be further updates to improve overall performance in the game.
The official Monster Hunter Wilds X (formerly Twitter) account said, “Although we will continue to implement gradual improvements in the weeks ahead, we are targeting Free Title Update 4 this winter to implement a multifaceted plan, including CPU and GPU related optimizations, followed by a second stage of mitigation measures afterwards.”
Monster Hunter Wilds Title Update 2 launched on June 30 with the arrival of Lagiacrus, Seregios, Arch-Tempered Uth Duna, Layered Weapons, and other additional features. The Festival of Accord: Flamefete Season Event was also held alongside Event Quests featuring Arch-tempered Uth Duna.
The Monster Hunter Rathalos Telecaster, created by legendary guitar-maker Fender to celebrate the Monster Hunter 20th anniversary, makes an appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds starting August 27. It is an in-game gesture that can be obtained through a limited-time Event Quest. Title Update 3 will release in late September 2025.
Monster Hunter Wilds is available for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Before launch, Final Weapon reviewed Monster Hunter Wilds and gave it a 4 out of 5 score, noting that the game is “a worthy follow-up to Capcom’s most successful game ever.”
