NetEase and Marvel have finally released the first trailer for Season 5 of Marvel Rivals, confirming that the game will add Gambit and Rogue. The first half of the season will start on November 14.
The trailer focuses on a wedding between Gambit and Rogue, two iconic members of the X-Men who have made numerous appearances in video games, movies, and TV shows alike. It also features a look at other X-Men characters, including those who haven’t yet debuted in Rivals yet, such as Cyclops. Gambit will release first, on November 14, while Rogue will release in December 2025.

Update: NetEase also released a new Dev Vision for Marvel Rivals, confirming new details about season 5. The video reveals that Gambit will be a support/Strategist character when he releases on November 14. Additionally, it announces a new 18v18 mode called Conquest (Annihilation), which will release on November 27. Season 5 will also feature the debut of cross progression and a new “non-combat” social map.

Recently, Season 4.5 released on October 10 and added Daredevil as a playable character. It also featured new team-up attacks with Namor and Hela and Daredevil and Punisher, as well as a new mode, according to the latest dev vision from NetEase. Aleks Le will voice the iconic vigilante. Season 4 initially released on September 12, alongside a PlayStation 4 version of the game. The season also added Angela, a warrior from Heaven and the sister of Thor and Loki.
Lastly, Marvel Rivals is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game is also available on PlayStation 4. The developers are open to releasing a Nintendo Switch 2 version of Marvel Rivals at a later date. Season 5 of Marvel Rivals will release on November 14.
