Chaos Zero Nightmare ‘Forbidden Catalyst’ Update Launches November 12, Developer Commentary Video Released

Smilegate and Super Creative have released a new developer commentary video for the Chaos Zero Nightmare “Forbidden Catalyst” update, which launches on November 12. The video features key members of the development team, including head of systems and live team Choi Seung Hyun and combat team lead Gong Ji Hwan, as they walk fans through the update’s new content.

The Chaos Zero Nightmare “Forbidden Catalyst” update features 5-star Striker Yuki, the head of the Special Investigation Department, who specializes in powerful area-of-effect attacks. What’s more, the update will also introduce the new “Forbidden Catalyst” story chapter, the new partner Westmacott, “Galactic Disaster” seasonal content, the new “Laboratory 0” and “Nebula Distortion” Chaos Zones, which include new Forbidden and Common Cards, new Monster Cards and exclusive equipment. The video also introduces new in-game events and special login rewards, such as Rescue Anchors, Free Crystals and Prism Lenses. The “Great Rift” content was also teased for a future update.

“We’re excited to share the diversity of content that Chaos Zero Nightmare will continue to deliver,” said Smilegate business director Kim Joo Hyung. “Through these developer commentary videos, we aim to communicate openly with players and showcase the creative direction of the game’s future updates.”

Smilegate plans to release more developer commentary videos in future with members of the Super Creative team, including insights into gameplay systems, design philosophy, highly demanded improvements, and other topics.

Lastly, Chaos Zero Nightmare is available now for Android via Google Play, iOS via App Store, and PC via STOVE.
