SEGA has announced Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launches on December 4 digitally for $69.99. A Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Upgrade Pack will be available for $10, allowing Nintendo Switch owners of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds to continue from where they left off with content and progress carrying over.
What’s more, the Upgrade Pack will be discounted at $5 from December 4 to December 11. The physical Standard Edition of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will release in early 2026 with the full game on the cartridge.
Right now, fans can install a free content update for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds featuring Ichiban Kasuga from the Like a Dragon series as a playable character. The new Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds update also introduces Ichiban Kasuga’s vehicle, the Dragon Brave, and special emotes and sounds. What’s more, the Ichiban Kasuga Festival event will be held from Thursday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m. ET through Sunday, November 9 at 6:59 p.m. ET. World Match will not be available during the Festival.
Players can expect even more DLC characters with the Season Pass, which is sold separately for $29.99 for players who already bought the Standard Edition.

Lastly, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
