SEGA has released a free content update for Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds featuring Ichiban Kasuga from the Like a Dragon series as a playable character. The new Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds update also introduces Ichiban Kasuga’s vehicle, the Dragon Brave, and special emotes and sounds.
What’s more, the Ichiban Kasuga Festival event will be held from Thursday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m. ET through Sunday, November 9 at 6:59 p.m. ET. World Match will not be available during the Festival.
The previous free content update added Joker from Persona 5 as a playable character, the Arsène Wing vehicle, three songs from Persona 5 Royal, and special emotes and sounds. The added songs include “Take Over,” “Wake Up, Get Up, Get out There,” and “Victory.”
Players can expect even more DLC characters with the Season Pass, which is sold separately for $29.99 for players who already bought the Standard Edition.

- Playable characters: Steve, Alex, and Creeper
- Minecraft-themed course and vehicle
- SpongeBob SquarePants
- Playable characters: SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is available now for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The digital Nintendo Switch 2 version launches in holiday 2025, while the physical copy will release in early 2026. Nintendo Switch users may upgrade to the Switch 2 version for $10.
