NIJISANJI announced that the company has partnered with Japanese toy maker Takara Tomy for a new VTuber card game. The NIJISANJI card game is currently being prepared for a spring 2027 release, and more details are coming in spring 2026.
Takara Tomy is known for producing and releasing collectable card games in Japan, including Duel Masters, Detective Conan, and Haikyuu!! Break card games. The company is also the Japanese distributor of the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game and the official Kingdom Hearts Trading Card Game that coincided with the release of Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories.
Previously, NIJISANJI teamed up with SEGA to launch a collaboration event in a free update for Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis, which is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store, Windows, and Steam. The collaboration featured cosmetic items based on NIJISANJI Livers Ars Almal, Debidebi Debiru, Nui Sociere, and Mikoto Rindou. Specifically, the AC Scratch Ticket: Virtual Liver Style ’25 included avatar items, weapon camos, battle voices, custom body pillow Weapon Camo, ARKS ID Backgrounds, and some unconventional items, such as a Debidebi Debiru-themed Mag Form and a Ars Almal-themed cushion Build Part. Players also had the opportunity to earn free rewards through login bonuses, including autograph stickers and Build Parts featuring Livers visuals.
