Gaming Factory has released a free update for JDM: Japanese Drift Master featuring the new Hyundai INSTEROID car and a new four-race side mission campaign. In the new campaign, JDM: Japanese Drift Master players compete in a Hyundai INSTEROID against other Hyundai-branded cards, including the INSTER and IONIQ 5.
In the new update, winning the campaign’s two touge races, time attack, and drag race awards the INSTEROID to the player’s garage. The first race of the side mission campaign unlocks after Chapter 01, Mission 06. Outside the game, the INSTEROID is being showcased at the Hyundai booth during the Japan Mobility Show, which takes place in Tokyo from October 30 to November 9.
JDM: Japanese Drift Master is available for PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store. The game is coming to Xbox Series X|S on November 21, followed by PlayStation 5 in Q1 2026. Wishlisting for the Xbox Series X|S version of JDM: Japanese Drift Master is available now in the Microsoft Store.
JDM: Japanese Drift Master features fan-favorite cars from Honda, Mazda, Subaru, and Nissan. Each car can be upgraded mechanically and visually. The game also features a day and night cycle, along with dynamic weather and full support for driving wheels and sim-driving hardware. JDM: Japanese Drift Master will receive three phases’ worth of additional features and content over time.
