Backbone and Kojima Productions announced a new Death Stranding 2: On The Beach Limited Edition of the company’s Backbone One peripheral, officially licensed by PlayStation. The new Backbone One peripheral features color, typography, and iconography drawn from Sam’s world.
The Death Stranding 2: On The Beach Limited Edition Backbone One features aluminum D-pad and buttons inspired by the design of Backbone One PlayStation Edition. It arrives in an individually numbered hard case with a quick start card and a collector tag (excluding the game). All second-generation Backbone One controllers include magnetic adapters, and the Backbone app provides seamless support for native features.
The peripheral is compatible with Android and iPhone devices, including the all-new iPhone 17 series. Each Backbone One can snap into the phone and play any game, app, or service that supports controllers, including PS Remote Play, Steam Link, Apple Arcade, Google Play Store and Nvidia GeForce NOW. Games that natively support the peripheral include Destiny: Rising, Fortnite, and Roblox.
Backbone One – Death Stranding 2: On The Beach Limited Edition arrives on November 6 at 9:00 a.m. PDT on Backbone.com and Best Buy Drops, followed by the KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS STORE at 12:00 p.m. noon JST. The run is limited to 1,350 units, and Backbone will ship units to 55 countries worldwide.
