MOUSE: P.I. For Hire Deep Dive Documentary Released on YouTube

Fumi Games and PlaySide have released the deep dive documentary for MOUSE: P.I. For Hire on the game’s official YouTube channel. MOUSE: P.I. For Hire will release on March 19, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo SwitchPlayStation 4PlayStation 5Xbox OneXbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

According to the developers, the documentary allows fans to “go behind the scenes with the team here at Fumi Games for a deeper look at our upcoming first-person shooter. Hear directly from us on the game’s hand-crafted visuals, noir-fueled detective story, action-packed combat, and so much more!” Check out the full deep dive documentary for MOUSE: P.I. Before being delayed, MOUSE: P.I. For Hire was planned to release by the end of 2025. It will now release on March 19, 2026. During Summer Game Fest 2025, Final Weapon had the opportunity to experience a hands-off demo of MOUSE: P.I. For Hire to see how the game is shaping up. In a statement, Fumi Games CEO and founder Mateusz Michalak said the following:

“We are very excited to share our game, MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, with fans across the world on 19 March 2026. Set in the cartoon-noir city of Mouseburg, MOUSE: P.I. For Hire offers a unique mix of explosive FPS action and hand-drawn rubber hose animation. Stepping into the shoes of Private Investigator Jack Pepper – played by the inimitable Troy Baker – will be an experience that players will not forget!”

Here’s an overview of the game’s key features, via Steam:

    • Black and white, hand-drawn rubber hose animation, inspired by cartoons of the 1930s
    • Fast-paced FPS combat, where constant movement is key
    • A thrilling single-player campaign that unravels a complex web of crime and corruption
    • Over 20 noir-infused levels, teeming with mice, rats and shrews
    • Fully-loaded arsenal of over a dozen unique weapons and equipment – with a cartoon twist
    • Devastating consumable power-ups, capable of turning the tide of any battle
    • Unlockable movement abilities and Metroidvania-inspired level traversal
    • Original jazz soundtrack, featuring a big band orchestral ensemble
