Hero Games and Pan Studio have released anime-style mobile RPG Duet Night Abyss for Android, iOS, and PC via Windows and Epic Games Store. To celebrate the game’s global launch, a new character trailer was released to highlight Psyche, who is getting a new 1/7 scale figure from Good Smile Arts Shanghai.
Duet Night Abyss does not have any gacha mechanics for characters and weapons, as all will be available for free in-game without monetary restrictions. Characters and weapons will not use star-rating classifications or rarity tiers, and all weapons can be crafted and upgraded through the in-game forging system. Players can also recolor multiple parts of these characters through the new dye customization system. Weapons, outfits, and accessories can also be customized.
“The Duet Night Abyss development team is committed to creating a high-quality game that can operate and grow over the long term for players around the world,” a Pan Studio representative said. “The team firmly believes that monetization should exist to serve the gameplay experience—not dictate it.”
Lastly, singer Amanda Achen (Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker) is collaborated with Duet Night Abyss to perform the game’s official theme song.
