SEGA has released the Version 2.3 update for Persona5: The Phantom X on Android, iOS, and PC via Steam. Persona5: The Phantom X Version 2.3 adds Main Story Chapter 3: Unconditional Love Phase 2, a new commemorative event, and new 5-star Phantom Thief Kira Kitazato, voiced by Nobuhiko Okamoto.
In Main Story Chapter 3: Unconditional Love Phase 2, players team up with disciplinary committee chair Riko Tanemura to confront the strange incidents happening within the academy. Playing the newly added content and reaching set goals before December 8 at 1:59 a.m. (UTC) grants several new rewards, including up to 1,280 Meta Crystals, Joy Medals for exchangeable rewards, and the event-exclusive item Plum Blossom Arm Bands, which may be used to get Rank VII Persona Cu Chulainn.
What’s more, 5-star Phantom Thief Kira Kitazato is now featured in Most Wanted Phantom Idol Contracts: Cynical Surgeon, which is available until November 25 at 1:59 a.m. (UTC) Kira has two modes: Doctor and Ripper. In Doctor mode, he can inflict Bleed stacks by dealing damage with skills, and damage can be further increased by raising his ailment accuracy. In Ripper mode, Kitazato spends foes’ Bleed stacks to deal heavy damage. His exclusive weapon can be obtained from Arms Deals: Silent Pistols.
A new draw method, dubbed “Targeted,” is now available. Targeted requires more draws compared to the existing Chance system, but the 5-star drops that players get will only be the featured ones. In addition, after drawing Targeted contracts 165 times, players can get a 5-star Phantom Thief Chance 01, which can be used to get one random 5-star Phantom Thief from among those that appear in Phantom Idol Draft X.
Even more rewards are up for grabs in Thieves’ Secrets: Messa’s Special Missions, which has completable stages in Normal, Challenge, Limited Time modes. Complete the stages to earn Meta Jewels, Fragrance of Iris, Joy Medals, and the event-exclusive item Secret Tickets. Having Kira Kitazato or Toshiya Sumi in the party increases the rewards you can get while the event is ongoing until November 6 at 1:59 a.m. (UTC). Lastly, a login bonus event is available with up to 7 Platinum Tickets as free rewards, and 600 Meta Jewels have been given away for free following the official Persona5: The Phantom X Version 2.3 broadcast.
Persona5: The Phantom X is available now for Android, iOS, and PC (Steam) in the west and Japan, and the version 2.0 website is now live. Lastly, console versions are being planned.
