Electronic Arts and Battlefield Studios have released a new trailer for Battlefield 6 Season 1, revealing many new details about what’s coming with the seasonal update on October 28 and beyond. As revealed in the Battlefield 6 post-launch roadmap, there will be multiple phases to the first season.
The first phase of Battlefield 6 Season 1 begins with Rogue Ops on October 28, which includes the Blackwell Fields map and the new 4v4 Strikepoint mode. California Resistance follows up on November 18 with the new Eastwood map and a Sabotage mode, where players must destroy as many sites as possible before the end of the round.
The final phase of Season 1 is Winter Offensive, launching on December 9. Winter Offensive features new seasonal themed content, including “an icy chill to Empire State.” All gameplay-impacting features will be free or earnable in-game without purchases, and more seasonal content will be released over time with more maps, modes, weapons, and more.
Battlefield 6 has achieved a new series sales record with 7 million copies sold in the first three days of launch. What’s more, Battlefield 6 reached a peak player count of 747,440 on Steam just a few hours after the game went live on Friday. Battlefield 6 earned a “Very Positive” user rating on the platform with more than 59,000 reviews in English.
Battlefield 6 is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
