Shueisha will release the second-ever novel adaptation of Kōji Miura’s Blue Box manga, titled Ao no Hako Interlude (Blue Box Interlude). The Blue Box Interlude novel will ship on December 4 in Japan, and it’s written by Miura and Nanao. The novel includes a story Kyō Kasahara’s unrequited love, along with an episode about Taiki and Chinatsu’s first part-time job experience.
Blue Box Season 2 is currently in production, and the first season is currently streaming on Netflix with an English dub. It will also streaming with subtitles in multiple languages.
Yūichirō Yano is the anime’s director, Yūko Kakihara oversaw the series scripts, and Miho Tanino is the character designer. Once more, Telecom Animation Film is in charge of animation. UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS is planned and produced the anime, which ran for 25 episodes across two cours in the first season.
