KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME Update Adds 5-Star Character Gen Narumi [Future Sight]

Akatsuki Games, TOHO CO., and Production I.G have released a new update for KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME featuring 5-star character Gen Narumi [Future Sight]. Wielding the power of Numbers Weapon 1, Gen Narumi [Future Sight] can inflict Seen Through status and boost damage dealt by using his Ultimate Skill in KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME.

Gen Narumi [Future Sight] is available from the latest pick-up event, and KAIJU NO. 8: THE GAME players can earn up to 10 Gacha Tickets by participating in the new login bonus event. What’s more, GS-Oyamatsumi (Gunsword) is the latest featured 5-star weapon, and Gen’s character story “Eyes That See the Future is Now Available” is also available now.

Kaiju No. 8 Season 2 is streaming with English dubs and subs on Crunchyroll. This is in addition to all 12 episodes of the first season and the side story episode “Hoshina’s Day Off.” Aurora performs the opening theme song “You Can’t Run From Yourself.” OneRepublic performs the ending theme song “Beautiful Colors.”

In a world plagued by creatures known as Kaiju, Kafka Hibino aspired to enlist in The Defense Force. He makes a promise to enlist with his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro. Soon, life takes them in separate ways. While employed cleaning up after Kaiju battles, Kafka meets Reno Ichikawa. Reno’s determination to join The Defense Force reawakens Kafka’s promise to join Mina and protect humanity.
