Square Enix released a new trailer for the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, titled “World & Factions.” As the title suggests, the World & Factions trailer gives an overview of Midgar, Shinra, and other notable entities within the world of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 on January 22, 2026, and a demo is planned for release before the end of 2025. Both Final Fantasy VII Remake and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth are available now for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade includes both Final Fantasy VII Remake and the Episode INTERmission DLC featuring Yuffie Kisaragi. The Nintendo Switch 2 version will run at 30 FPS with “smooth performance and crisp visuals.” What’s more, the new release includes a “Streamlined Progression” feature, allowing players to focus on the story with various modifiers enabled. Players will have unlimited MP and HP at all times, unlimited limit and ATB gauge during battles, 9,999 damage, easier weapon ability acquisition, and more.
According to Naoki Hamaguchi, the power of Nintendo Switch 2 allows Square Enix to “recreate Midgar with full specs,” making Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade possible on the platform. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Remake Part 3 are coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S as part of Square Enix’s multiplatform strategy.
