Sony Cancels PlayStation The Concert 2025 North America Dates

GEA Live releases a statement following the tour's cancellation.

Sony Interactive Entertainment has canceled all remaining 2025 North America tour dates for PlayStation: The Concert 2025, organizers GEA Live have confirmed. The news comes after months after Sony began to cancel European and U.K. tour dates for PlayStation: The Concert. 

“It is with great regret that we have cancelled the PlayStation The Concert 2025 tour dates in North America,” a GEA Live spokesperson told VGC. “Our team has spent a considerable amount of time developing this project, and we share in the disappointment of fans who will no longer be able to attend. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the show and appreciate your understanding in making this difficult decision.”

PlayStation The Concert – World Tour 2025-2026 was announced in October 2024 by Sony Interactive Entertainment  in partnership with RoadCo Entertainment and GEA Live. The global tour was supposed to come to more than 200 cities in Europe, US, UK, and more regions.

PlayStation The Concert – World Tour 2025-2026 would have featured music from God of War, The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, Horizon, and many other franchises to celebrate 30 years of PlayStation. Fans can expect “a stunning fusion of multi-layered visuals, immersive surround sound, and an all-star ensemble blending classical and modern instruments.” 

The European/U.K. tour had plans for stops in Dublin, Ireland – Glasgow, Scotland, London, Birmingham, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, UK – Amsterdam, Netherlands – Paris, Amnéville, France – Antwerp, Brussels, Belgium – Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Berlin, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Leipzig, Munich, Oberhausen, Germany – Zurich, Switzerland – Bologna, Italy – Budapest, Hungary – Sofia, Bulgaria – Vienna, Austria – Bratislava, Slovakia – Prague, Czech Republic – Lodz, Poland – Copenhagen, Denmark – Gotenburg, Sweden – Oslo, Norway – Tampere, Finland.
