Fuse and Mitz Vah’s That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime light novel series will end with the 23rd volume, Micro Magazine’s GC Novels label has confirmed on X (formerly Twitter). The 23rd volume of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime will ship on November 29 in Japan. 

In addition, GC Novels announced that the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: How to Spend a Certain Vacation (Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken: Toaru Kyūka no Sugoshi-kata) spinoff story will be published on November 29. A new cover illustration for the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: How to Spend a Certain Vacation story was revealed as well.

That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Blue Sea Arc premieres on February 27, 2026 in Japan. The new movie will have an original plot that wasn’t featured in the manga and main novel series. 8-Bit is the studio behind the animation of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Blue Sea Arc. Cast members from the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime series will reprise their roles in the film.

Fuse initially serialized the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime light novel series in 2013. Over the years, it has garnered several video games, anime, and more adaptations, alongside several collaborations. Lastly, the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime series is streaming on Amazon Prime Video and Crunchyroll.
