Fuse and Mitz Vah’s That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime light novel series will end with the 23rd volume, Micro Magazine’s GC Novels label has confirmed on X (formerly Twitter). The 23rd volume of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime will ship on November 29 in Japan.

The new movie will have an original plot that wasn’t featured in the manga and main novel series. 8-Bit is the studio behind the animation of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Blue Sea Arc. Cast members from the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime series will reprise their roles in the film.
