The staff behind the second That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime film in the series, titled That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Blue Sea Arc, confirmed its theatrical premiere for February 27, 2026 in Japan. The movie will have an original plot that wasn’t featured in the manga and main novel series, and a teaser trailer was released alongside a new key visual.

8-Bit is the studio behind the animation of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Blue Sea Arc. Cast members from the anime series will reprise their roles in the film.
