Crunchyroll will be streaming the new TV anime adaptation of Shinya Misu’s You Can’t Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! (Osananajimi to wa LoveCom ni Naranai) manga. The You Can’t Be In a Rom-Com with Your Childhood Friends! anime will be streaming on Crunchyroll worldwide, excluding Asia, in 2026.
The cast for the anime includes:
- Rin Kusumi as Shio Minamo
- Yū Serizawa as Akari Hiodoshi
- Sae Hiratsuka as Runa Tsukimi
CyberAgent is producing the anime, and Tezuka Productions is animating the series.
Misu released the original manga series on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket website in March 2022. Kodansha published the manga’s 17th compiled book volume on September 9.
