Crunchyroll revealed its upcoming slate of Blu-ray releases for December 2025, including the Kaiju No. 8 Season 1 Limited Edition set on December 9. The Kaiju No. 8 Season 1 Limited Edition set and new Blu-ray releases will be available in the Crunchyroll Store and participating retailers.
The Kaiju No. 8 Season 1 Limited Edition set is packaged in a glow-in-the-dark box with a special slip cover. Contents of the set include a glow-in-the-dark acrylic standee of Kaiju No. 8, five art character cards (Kafka, Reno, Kikoru, Hoshina, and Mina), a metal-finish art card featuring Kaiju No. 8, and a top secret 160-page art book with Japanese staff interviews, concept art, storyboards, and much more. Standard and Limited Edition releases include promo videos, music videos, and creditless opening and ending sequences.
What’s more, Crunchyroll will be releasing the director’s cut version of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- Season 1 as a special SteelBook release on December 9. The new home release includes new box art and a 119-page art book featuring episode details, character bios, setting artwork, and much more.
Further, Crunchyroll revealed its lineup of Blu-ray releases for December, which includes Black Butler -Public School Arc-, Spice and Wolf: MERCHANT MEETS THE WISE WOLF Season 1 Part 2, KONOSUBA – God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Season 3, and Tower of God: Workshop Battle Season 2 Part 2.
